Thank God for our voice!
This is a great website by a man that has only one agenda and that is the betterment of the great island of Sicily and its people. For far too long Sicilians have been mistreated by the italian government, since the beginning (1861) Sicilians have suffered at the hands of our nort invaders. The Sicilian people are diverse, passionate and hardworking, many Sicilians distinguish themselves by their determination and creativity. Yes of course Sicily has had its share of bad guys, that can be said of many other places around the world though. All that Sicilians want is the freedom and opportunity to decide their own destiny without outside interference and control. Sicilians believe in having a say in creating a sovereign country without being subject to a repressive government that rules out of Rome who decides whether we have basic rights like not being afraid to criticize the powers that be or vote for change like in the U.S. Sicilians don’t want any part of a system that votes themselves in and creates their own little financial/power club while the country goes down the tubes. I know I’m long winded, this needs to be said because many people around the world have a distorted view of what it means to be Sicilian.
